Shanghai KUKO Packing Machinery Co., Ltd. is a Sleeve Sealing Shrink Wrapping Machine manufacturer supplying low-, medium- and high-speed models for production lines worldwide. Our sleeve sealing range covers fully-auto and semi-auto systems used in food, daily chemicals, electronics, logistics, pharmaceuticals, furniture and many other packaged-goods sectors.
Range overview and machine layout
The category is divided into Fully-auto Sleeve Sealing Shrink Wrapping Machine and Semi-auto Sleeve Sealing Shrink Wrapping Machine. Fully-auto models integrate sleeve application, sealing and shrink tunnel operation with automatic product feeding, making them the standard choice for continuous production. Semi-auto models use operator-assisted loading and are more practical for lower volumes, frequent format changes or products that are difficult to align automatically.
Within those two families, we offer dedicated layouts rather than a one-size-fits-all wrapper. The choice depends on product orientation, grouping pattern and required throughput.

| Luggage shrink wrapper |
Large-format handling and shrink tunnel for luggage and bulky items |
Process fit and typical applications
Sleeve sealing shrink wrapping works by drawing a tubular film around the product, sealing the film around the perimeter or ends, and then passing the pack through a heated tunnel. The film shrinks tightly over contours, giving a secure multi-pack or a tamper-evident single pack.
We apply this process to bottles and cans, gift sets and trays, cartons and rigid containers, tape rolls, wire coils, round and square profiles, luggage and other large items. For sticky or pressure-sensitive products such as masking tape, the dedicated masking tape wrapper is designed to reduce film-to-product adhesion during sealing. Vertical linear and circle layouts handle products that cannot be laid flat.
Engineering and quality control
KUKO is a China-based factory with two manufacturing bases in Kunshan Zhouzhuang Industrial Park and Shanghai Sheshan Industrial Park, giving us a combined workshop area of 34,000 square metres. We use German IPG high-precision laser cutting and imported high-accuracy servo bending machines to produce consistent sheet-metal frames and sealing structures.
Our machines are designed for 24/7 stable continuous operation and comply with ISO9001 and CE requirements. The controlled, in-house manufacturing chain allows standardized assembly and factory testing before delivery, which is important when the line cannot afford a long ramp-up period.
Controls and line integration
We deliver more than a standalone sealer and tunnel. The machine can be configured with infeed and outfeed conveyors, product alignment guides, photoeye detection, variable-speed drives and PLC/HMI operation. For intelligent factories, we support MES system integration so that production counts, running state and fault alarms are available to the plant network.
Because the sleeve sealing station works with the rest of the packaging line, we also coordinate integration with upstream filling, capping, labeling and downstream palletizing equipment. Our engineers use your line speed and pack pattern to design the correct buffer sections and avoid bottlenecks.
Installation, maintenance and acceptance
During project preparation, we provide the equipment layout, utility requirements and installation plan. The layout review includes guard positions, operator access and emergency stop locations. We define the acceptance criteria together with your team: sealing strength, film appearance, dimensional tolerance and line speed. This avoids confusion between the machinery supplier, film supplier and line operator.
After commissioning, the equipment is backed by a one-year free warranty plus life-cycle maintenance support. Spare parts, operating documentation and operator training are coordinated through our after-sales team. For related closed-pack formats, see our Fully Closed Sealing and Shrink Wrapping Machine range.
Information we use to configure your solution
For a precise configuration and quotation, send our application team the following project data:
- Product dimensions, weight and shape, including whether the pack is a single item or a grouped multi-pack
- Target throughput in packs per minute and line operating hours
- Film type and thickness, plus any print registration requirement
- Sealing pattern: full sleeve, open-end sleeve, multi-row or multi-layer
- Infeed and outfeed direction, conveyor height and connection to existing equipment
- Available utilities: power supply, compressed air and floor space
- MES or data collection requirements
- Acceptance criteria for seal strength, film appearance and dimensional consistency
With those details, we define the exact model, sealing width, tunnel length, conveyor layout and control interfaces for your product. We then present the machine arrangement, utility connection points and delivery scope in a single proposal.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between fully-auto and semi-auto sleeve sealing shrink wrapping machines?
Fully-auto systems handle the complete cycle automatically: product feeding, sleeve film application, sealing, and transport into the shrink tunnel. They suit continuous production lines with stable pack presentation. Semi-auto systems rely on an operator to load the product or sleeve, while sealing and shrinking remain automatic; they are a practical choice for shorter runs and frequent format changes.
Which shrink films can be used?
The range is compatible with common shrink film types such as POF, PVC and PE. We configure the sealing temperature, dwell time and tunnel airflow according to the film you plan to use. If you need to run more than one film, we select a heating system and control range that covers all of them.
Can the machine be integrated into an existing production line?
Yes. We regularly supply machines with custom infeed and outfeed conveyors to match existing equipment heights and speeds. The PLC/HMI can also be linked to the plant's MES or data collection system to report packaging output and machine status.
What product dimensions can be handled?
We need the product length, width, height, weight and whether it is a single item or a grouped pack. These values determine the sealing width, tunnel opening and conveyor pitch. The range includes models for small consumer goods, multi-layer stacks, multi-row packs, round wire coils and large luggage.
What after-sales support does KUKO provide?
All equipment comes with a one-year free warranty and life-cycle maintenance support. Our after-sales team provides spare parts, operating documentation and technical assistance for commissioning, troubleshooting and future line changes.
